Teacher Training Sept-Oct 2008: Santa Monica, Ca; "Love and service are the wings of transformation"; This 200 hour yoga teacher training has a unique focus on seva (service), strengthening the individual to go out and empower others through teaching Hatha Vinyasa yoga.; There will be 20 spots, 5 of which will be Seva Scholarships for individuals bringing a vision, realistic commitment and entrepreneurial spirit toward finding new places and ways to share the healing of yoga. 50% of the proceeds from this training will go directly to funding the Community House and Outreach program in Goa, India.; For inquiries email: psalmisadora@gmail.com

Community House in Goa, India: This will be a large house for Indians and westerners involved in the Yoga Community outreach to live in together. The house will serve as a base for going out into the community to teach.

Yoga Outreach for Women and Children in Goa, India: Teachers from the Tree of Life teacher training will go out into the community to teach free yoga with an emphasis on health to interested women and children in Goa. India is the birthplace of yoga, but it is not accessible for personal health and growth to working families who suffer with health issues.

Micro-financing entrepreneurs in India: Inspired by the Grameen foundation to do the work that is in front of us on a person to person community level, the Tree of Life Foundation will give micro-finance loans and practical business support to local entrepreneures through the community center in Goa. Helping people to achieve their dreams, allowing them to create a foundation for self fulfillment and self reliance and to become empowered members of their community.

Yoga Volunteer Support Network and Hub for Los Angeles Community: Providing support through group meetings and serving as a hub for yoga teachers to find volunteer opportunities in the local Los Angeles community.
