- THE TRAINING VISION:
- This Teacher training is organized around exploring the chakras and how they relate to human development on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes, on the individual and universal level. Each week of the 8 week training will be devoted to understanding and awakening the chakras in sequential order. Each week will have a specific chakra sadhana of breathwork, bandha, mudra, asana and meditation.
- WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
- fri 6:30-9pm sangha: meditation, community discussion and potluck
- sat & sun 10am-3pm yoga practice and workshop with psalm or guest teachers
- m/w/th 6:30-9am sadhana and yoga practice
- tues 6:30-8:45am outdoors at beach, drills
- Time will be set aside for students to find their unique voice and practice teaching in front of the group.

- Study, teach & live at Shakti Bhakti house, Goa India Nov 2009-March 2010 Students completing the teacher training are invited to stay at the Shakti Bhakti Communal House in Goa, India and teach as service there.
- Yoga Volunteer Support Network and Hub for Los Angeles Community
- Providing support through group meetings and serving as a hub for yoga teachers to find volunteer opportunities in the local Los Angeles community.
- Teacher Training & Yoga Tantra Immersion: Sacred Geometry of the Body
- Jan 16-30, 2010
- A 2-week immersion into an ancient lineage of Tantra and Kundalini Yoga. Devipuram ashram is nested in the hills and jungle of southeast India. We will have fire pujas (ceremonies) in the mornings and practice a complete style of yoga which includes asana, pranayam, mantra, mudra and tantra. Yoga classes will be taught by Psalm Isadora. We will learn the sacred geometry of the body. The practices are ancient and mystical, but immediately accessible and experiential. "The lord has a Universe for a body".
